Perhaps instead of giving you a typical Mission Statement with words like
“innovative” and “ experts”, we will tell you what we are NOT.
We are not a company that is trendy. Trends are for followers and they
always die on a yearly basis. We are leaders and we set standards.
We do not call ourselves professionals because we can move pictures
around in Photoshop and add text on top of them. Let all of our
competitors make that claim. We are creators and designers – not
picture arrangers.
We do NOT trick the public into thinking we are professionals by placing
the NAPP Logo on our website. (National Association of Photoshop
Professionals). Anyone (even people who have never used Photoshop)
can join this group for a monthly fee. It is misleading and a blatant
misrepresentation of how skilled someone is.
We do not charge by the hour. We feel this is an unfair and misleading
way to bill a client. Maybe we are the only company that understands
our talents well enough that we can give upfront pricing before they ever
even call us.
We do not take a long time to complete a job. Marketing companies
take some considerable time to do a project and they charge by the
hour. Then they might say that anyone who is faster than they are is
using pre-made graphics. You’ve figured out the gimmick now haven’t
you? We charge an upfront fee regardless of company size and we
have a fast turnaround. It makes sense. No pretending here.
We are not limited to SW Florida. We do work internationally. Not
because we spend money on advertising….it is because people talk
about us.
Because this list has the potential to turn into a book, we are going to
end it there. Sherwood Productions, Inc. was founded on the idea of doing
things differently. We believe business owners have the inalienable right
to success and it is our mission to help them achieve that as much as
possible.
